Welcome
The Edgewater Community
Outreach has had an incredible response from our community and is
off to a strong start with over 60 volunteers who are now organized
and ready to go.
Everyone in the community can become involved by keeping their eyes
and ears open. If you know of a neighbor that may need assistance,
or, if you or your family can use some extra assistance, just call
one of the numbers below.
What kinds of assistance can the volunteers offer?
Here are
just some examples:

 Deliver meals to families during crisis (surgery, illness, death
in family)

Help
with transportation to/from doctor
-
 Calling, emailing, visiting, sending cards to sick and elderly
-
Welcome newcomers
-
Computer help, i.e. email
-
 Short-term
lawn care for the sick/elderly
-
Run
errands for sick/elderly/homebound
-
Help
with laundry and light housekeeping for sick/elderly
-
Pet
care during an emergency
-
Light repairs around the home for sick/elderly
-
Changing light bulbs for elderly
-
Carry out garbage for sick/elderly
